An update to PebblePad will be rolled out February 1. This update will add enhancements to the system including more options when embedding web content (you will not be limited to YouTube) and an optional word count feature for Templates with large text areas. For more detailed information, please see the PebblePad Update Document (PDF). We expect this update to occur early next week with a minimal interruption for users on PebblePad at 5 AM.

Forthcoming updates to PebblePad! Collaboration will now be available for users on the system, by selecting the "I Want To - Share With People" option you will be able to give the person you are sharing with the same power you have as a creator. While we believe that this feature will greatly enhance the PebblePad experience, all users should be aware that they should only collaborate with people they know! If two users are collaborating and editing at the same time, resources or assets are locked to the first person who accesses it, with the second in read-only mode. The second feature also is an improvement to portfolio building, and PebblePad now allows anyone to add a template as a page within a portfolio. This allows the user to continue to work on a portfolio without leaving the portfolio itself to edit a template response. We expect this update to occur early next week with a minimal interruption for users on PebblePad during the early morning hours.

PebblePad has updated the Template and Workbook creators so that they meet the look and feel of the rest of Pebble+. New functionality in Templates allow for students to upload Media to a Template or page in a Workbook. This functionality is a vast improvement for those who are wanting a guided experience but allowances for students to customize particular pages of the Workbook. Progress Tracking is a new feature of Workbooks that allows the user to check off completion of pages and view progress in the Asset sidebar. Portfolios and other submissions to Atlas can be exported as PDF. For full release notes please visit: PebblePad Release Notes for Version 1604.
